Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
Some more exciting news...it looks like I will be participating in the Texas Rangers Baseball "Yoga Appreciation Day" taking place during the "7th Inning Stretch" of their game against Baltimore on September 23rd. It is of no coincidence this will be happening the weekend of Global Mala. The Texas Rangers have a whole new marketing campaign with billboards all over the city that have catchy phrases to let you know you have not seen enough baseball lately. One of their billboards says: "The 7th Inning Stretch is not a Yoga position. You could use some baseball." So, to go along with this theme they are having a Yoga Appreciation Day for the game that evening. As far as I know, the game will be free for anyone affiliated with Yoga in any way. And, we're hoping to have a special section reserved for all of the Yogis and Yoginis. I will be involved during the "7th Inning Stretch" with leading the stadium in a mini-Yoga stretch and practice. It will also be an opportunity for me to share about the Global Mala event. All of these events will be filmed and may be part of a documentary which is being made featuring worldwide footage of our collective efforts around the globe. I'll keep you posted as more unfolds. For now, may we know the Infinite Grace and Love of the breath of our Being as it awakens us to Its miraculous wonder each moment of the way."The whole world is you. Yet you keep thinking there is something else." -Hsueh-Feng Read more

Very cool! It's great to be a part of two huge events: baseball and peace. I like that your city has a sense of humor, as well as the ability to consider yoga.
I'll be in yoga teacher training on the 21st. I'm going to suggest we do our own 108 sun salutations.
